This villa is tucked away down a quiet country track with views across to the pretty medieval village of Sant'Angelo in Pontano.

Surrounding the property is an enchantingly secretive garden full of mature trees and flowers which beckons guests on to explore and find the pool.

The villa is superbly positioned to visit some of Marche's most beautiful and interesting historical towns, such as Amandola, Fermo, Sarnano and San Ginesio.

Also within easy driving distance are Macerata and Ascoli Piceno, while the Adriatic Coast is just 30 minutes away in the car. Seaside resorts such as Porto Sant'Elpidio, Porto San Giorgio and Civitanova Marche are close at hand and just a little further north is the small but breathtaking Conero Riviera. To the south other established resorts such as Grottamare, Cupramaritima and San Benedetto increase the choice still further.

The owners' devotion to the restoration of this Marche farmhouse is abundantly clear. Every care and attention has been given to ensuring the furniture and fittings are in keeping with the building, increasing the warm and authentic feeling of the place.

The nearest village, Sant'Angelo in Pontano is a small medieval village of around 1,500 inhabitants and has a small selection of bars and restaurants, a chemist and a bank.

For hikers the Monti Sibillini National Park is just a short drive and offers many signed paths for all levels of ability, from historic town strolls to week long treks immersed in the nature of the park.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

On the ground floor is a good sized and very well equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, oven, bread oven, large fridge freezer and small dining table and chairs. Adjacent is a ground floor double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The ground floor is completed by a large living room with fireplace, sofa and comfy chairs and a larger dining table. It has access to a portico via patio doors to the rear of the villa and to the front garden of the house.

On the first floor are two double en suite bedrooms and a third double bedroom with stairs up to a twin bedroom en suite attic conversion. Single beds can also be added to two of the double rooms to make them into twins.
