Gualdo's amenities include a small shop, bank, chemist and restaurant. A short drive away is Sarnano, tucked beneath the Apennines, famed for its curative spa and home to restaurants, bars and ice-cream parlours.

In summer and winter alike the town is popular with Italians for its curative spa baths, its proximity to the local ski resorts and its good access to the Sibillini Mountains and the trekking, paragliding, white water rafting and other activities which take place there.
